Society Gone Madd! was a hardcore punk band from the San Fernando Valley, Southern California, that started as a bedroom project in 1984 before fully diving into the scene by 1986. Known for their unwavering DIY ethos, they self-released all their records, booked their own shows, and built a reputation across California, playing everywhere from San Diego to San Francisco. They made it to the airwaves with a live set on KXLU. Over their 15-year run, they dropped five EPs and three full-length albums, including standout releases like What Do You Care?, Live on KXLU, and Save Room for Dessert. Society Gone Madd! stayed true to their roots until their final days in 1999, leaving a lasting mark on the SoCal punk scene.
