October 1st, 1994

Flyer for October 1, 1994, Cell 63, in collaboration with the Mighty Record Label (a partnership between Nathan Peterson and Paul Moshay), hosted a show featuring Society Gone Madd, Fixtures, Stupid Club, and 66%. This event marked another significant collaboration between the venue and the label, further solidifying Cell 63's role in supporting underground punk and hardcore music. Mighty, with its strong ties to the local scene, helped promote and amplify the voices of the bands involved. ___________________________________________________

The Fixtures was originally formed in Indiana in the late 80’s. To date, they’ve played with all the iconic bands such as the Offspring, Supersuckers, to Lazy Cowgirls and SNFU. Alternative Tentacles released the Fixtures 3rd full length The Devil’s Playground in September 1996.

Society Gone Madd! was a hardcore punk band from the San Fernando Valley, Southern California, that started as a bedroom project in 1984 before fully diving into the scene by 1986. Known for their unwavering DIY ethos, they self-released all their records, booked their own shows, and built a reputation across California, playing everywhere from San Diego to San Francisco. They made it to the airwaves with a live set on KXLU. Over their 15-year run, they dropped five EPs and three full-length albums, including standout releases like What Do You Care?, Live on KXLU, and Save Room for Dessert. Society Gone Madd! stayed true to their roots until their final days in 1999, leaving a lasting mark on the SoCal punk scene.
