This Cell 63 show, in collaboration with Club Amalgamated, presents "The Mark Rodgers Experience", a unique event honoring the creator of Unfucked, a group frequently working with Cell 63. The show featured a performance by Antioch Arrow.
This show exemplifies the venue's commitment to its community, offering a discount for attendees who bring canned food, supporting those facing food insecurity—a testament to Nathan’s vision for community serving space. The flyer also highlights Cell 63's rehearsal space rental services, another initiative to help cover the venue's rent, continuing the DIY spirit that drives the space.
Additionally, this show marks the first time Nathan began advertising his professional piercing services, which he offered at the Cell 63 basement. Nathan's piercing venture eventually led him to open one of the longest-running and highest-volume tattoo and piercing shops in Los Angeles, a symbol of how Cell 63 not only served as a music venue but also as a launching pad for broader creative and entrepreneurial pursuits.

Antioch Arrow from San Diego is regarded as a highly influential band of the early 1990s, their experimental sound and chaotic energy played a key role in shaping the “emo” genre that would rise to prominence in the late '90s and early 2000s. In 1993, Nathan's Amalgamated Records released Genes of Masochism, an album that captured the band's raw intensity and was recorded at the legendary Beastie Boys' studio.
