October 2nd, 1993

On October 2nd, 1993, Cell 63 hosted a show at Savage Garden Studios, a temporary rehearsal space they were utilizing at the time. The event featured Naked Aggression, Dogma Mundista, and Corrupted Ideals, each bringing their raw energy and political messages to the stage. The flyer for the event featured a cartoon drawing by Sergio Posada. This show exemplified the venue's deep commitment to its community, offering a discount to attendees who brought canned food, supporting those facing food insecurity. This initiative was a reflection of Nathan's vision for Cell 63 as a space that not only fostered punk music but also served as a hub for community involvement

Dogma Mundista was a politically-driven hardcore punk band from Southern California. The band’s frontman, Cesar “Cejas” Vasquez, originally played in the Tijuana-based punk band Solution Mortal, which shared the stage with iconic bands like the Dead Kennedys. After relocating to Los Angeles, Cejas would later form Dogma Mundista, continuing his exploration of political punk with a new group. Following the band’s disbandment, Cejas went on to form Calavera, a psychobilly band that also performed at Cell 63 in 1994.
